I had a mixed experience at Hotel Homs. The location was fantastic, being just steps away from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, which made exploring Rome a breeze. However, I found the room to be a bit dated, with signs of wear and limited maintenance. Staff members were generally friendly and helpful, but there were moments where service felt inconsistent.

Rooms
6.0
My room was quite small, though very clean. The decor felt dated, with frayed carpets and wallpaper, and the shower wasn't thoroughly cleaned on arrival. I also dealt with a weak air conditioning system, making the heat a bit uncomfortable at times.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and willing to assist, especially with local recommendations, though I found the service at the restaurant lacking. Despite some hiccups, they promptly addressed issues like a faulty lock during my stay.
Location
9.0
I absolutely loved the location. It was just around the corner from stunning sights like the Spanish Steps and not far from the Trevi Fountain. I felt safe walking around at night, and there were great restaurants nearby.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast offered a decent variety, although the quality could have been better. I appreciated the good coffee but expected a bit more in terms of options.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities felt a bit underwhelming. While they provided room service, laundry options were quite pricey, making me think twice about using them. There was also a lovely rooftop space, though not used during my stay.

7.4/10

My stay at Hotel Homs was quite the mixed bag. The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, which was a major perk for exploring. However, I had some issues with noise, especially from outside traffic and people during the night, making it hard to get restful sleep. The room was decently clean and the staff were courteous, but I expected a bit more comfort for a four-star rating.

Rooms
5.0
The room was small and a bit shabby, definitely not what I expected for a 'deluxe'. I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, which was bothersome at times.
Service
6.0
Staff were generally helpful and friendly, but I encountered some service lapses like running out of toilet paper in my bathroom that needed to be addressed.
Location
9.0
The location is killer, walking distance to major attractions like the Colosseum and Pantheon, plus tons of restaurants nearby. I loved how convenient it was!
Dining
7.0
Breakfast had a nice variety, including fresh pastries and hot options, though it could get crowded at times with limited seating.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had basic facilities like housekeeping and tour assistance, which were fine, but nothing particularly excellent.

6.2/10

I had a great stay at Hotel Homs, though there were some notable downsides. The location was unbeatable, making it easy for me to explore major attractions. While the staff were friendly and the room was clean, the mattress could definitely use an upgrade. Breakfast was enjoyable, but I found the variety somewhat lacking.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean but small, with comfortable beds, although I found the mattress itself a bit older and in need of replacement.
Service
9.0
The staff were very friendly and attentive, particularly Adriano and Sylver, which enhanced my experience during the stay.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was fantastic, just a short walk from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, providing easy access to all key sights in Rome.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was decent with a variety of options like eggs and fruit salad, but I'd have loved more diversity in the offerings.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had good air conditioning, and room service was available, but it would benefit from some refurbishment.

5.6/10

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Homs, mainly due to its very nice location near the Spanish Steps and other key attractions. However, the room I stayed in was quite small and lacked some comfort features like coffee-making facilities. The staff were friendly and attentive, which really enhanced my experience overall.

Rooms
6.0
The room was small and basic, lacking coffee-making facilities, but it was clean. I encountered some noise issues due to its proximity to the elevator and minibar.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, helping with local recommendations and arrangements. But I felt one receptionist crossed a line with an inappropriate comment that made my experience uncomfortable as a solo traveler.
Location
10.0
I couldn't ask for a better location; it was just around the corner from the Spanish Steps and close to many other attractions. It made it easy to explore everything Rome has to offer on foot.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast variety was limited and didn't quite meet my expectations, with no eggs or omelets offered. However, I found it was cheaper to have coffee at the hotel than nearby cafes.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel had some charming historic decor, I did find the facilities a bit lacking in modern comforts. There was no room service or laundry service offered.

7.0/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Homs. The location was fantastic, making it easy to reach key sights like the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. However, the noise levels were unbearable at night, and the room size was quite cramped. While the breakfast offered a good variety, and the service was generally attentive, the overall quality did not meet my expectations for a hotel claiming to be four stars.

Rooms
5.0
The room was very small and somewhat outdated, with issues like noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms affecting my sleep. There was also a distinct lack of soundproofing, which made the stay less pleasant than I hoped.
Service
6.0
Staff were courteous and helpful, particularly in making travel arrangements and providing local recommendations. However, their attentiveness didn’t quite compensate for the issues I encountered.
Location
9.0
The central location is one of the hotel's major benefits, as it put me within walking distance of many attractions, shops, and restaurants, making exploration easy and enjoyable.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was tasty and offered various options, but I felt some improvements could be made in terms of variety. Overall, it was a decent start to my day.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had decent facilities like a rooftop garden for drinks, but there were shortcomings in room comfort and AC functionality that affected my overall experience.
